Connecting a Carrier Account

Step-by-step guide to connecting your carrier accounts through Shippo.

Connecting carrier accounts through Shippo allows you to get shipping rates and purchase labels directly within the app. The connection process is a multi-step wizard that guides you through each carrier's specific requirements.

Connection Process

1

Select Your Carrier

Choose from the list of supported carriers. This app supports US-focused carriers including USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and others.

2

Complete Carrier-Specific Form

Each carrier requires different credentials and information. The form will display fields specific to your selected carrier. Common requirements include account number and some form of authentication. Some carriers may offer PIN verification or validation methods which require a recent invoice.

3

Verify Connection

Once submitted, Shippo will verify your credentials with the carrier. You'll see a success message when the connection is established. Carriers like UPS may require a secondary authentication step through their website - a button and message will appear in this case.
