Columns
Understanding the kanban board columns and how to customize them.
The Kanban board organizes your orders into columns based on their shipment status. Orders automatically move between columns as you work through your shipping process.
Column Status Definitions
| Field | Format | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | Status |
At least one shipment does not have a ship date yet. |
| Scheduled | Status |
All shipments have a ship date assigned. |
| Shipped | Status |
All shipments have labels purchased or have been confirmed as shipped. |
| Paid and Shipped | Status |
The order has been paid and all shipments are shipped. (Invoice only) |
Card Details
View a summary of an order's shipments and their current state.
Each card on the Kanban board represents an order and displays key information to help you quickly assess shipment status.
Card Information
Shipment Status Indicators
- Parcel shipments: Display the latest tracking status from the carrier
- Freight shipments: Display a checkmark next to the ship date when confirmed
- Scheduled shipments: Display the assigned ship date
- Pending shipments: Display QuickBooks information (invoice/PO number, customer)
Quick Stats
- 📦 Package count: Shows how many packages are in the shipment
- 🔧 Line item count: Shows how many line items are in the shipment
Card Actions
Click the menu icon, located in the top right corner of the card, to archive an order.
